Why this book is needed now?

Four years ago, I was a classic domestically focused entrepreneur. I never really thought about the business world beyond my own domestic shores, far flung exotic locations were vacation destinations. Then I met the co-founder of my current company, Quickstart Global and all that changed. Today, Quickstart Global employs around 600 people in 9 countries across the world.

In that time, I've learnt that running an international business is not as difficult as people imagine but there are some rules and considerations. The purpose of "Born Global" is to provide entrepreneurs considering the same journey with a practical guide backed up by case studies of those who've already done it.

The book is required now because we've entered into a new era of accelerated globalisation. The last 5 years have seen massive advances in technology which means that more and more entrepreneurs are considering internationalising their businesses.
